When you're doing backyard photography in the rain with your 9 year old son just to get him out of the house for a few minutes and then you get nailed in the head with big drop of water ...

Dad shoes? Bruh, come on.
I’d probably only wear them in the act of “dadding” so they’re dad shoes for me. Understandably, not dad shoes for everyone else. Looking for something cheap, comfortable, and reasonably good looking. Leaning toward one of these.

I find off-white easier to wear than white and personally Vans over Chucks if you’re ok with the skate vibes. Bottom left gets my vote, but definitely switch out the laces.

I've had several pairs of these over the years and liked them for casual summertime wear. They come in various other colors as well. Price point is around $50 I believe.

I struggle with white sneakers. I have considered them many times, but I never pull the trigger.

The only white sneakers I wear are the original GAT:s from the West German Bundeswehr. Available at Broadwayandsons.com. Not cheap but a lot cheaper than the MM replicas.

I agree. I think white shoes are too stark many times. I love my white bucks and loafers though. I'm leaning toward the off white or cream. I've seen many people rock white sneakers well though. I should be able to pull it off.
