1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Jacket is too small worn under what you have on.

DonC, I quite like the "in the wild" photos, it makes for a nice change of pace, instead of the usual "posed" photographs!

@Isolation I think your jackets would look better with a lower buttoning point with that much waist suppression and pants need cleaning up. I quite like the fit otherwise.

This thread is getting very little action lately :(
If it wasn't for @Gerry Nelson it would slowly die...

Here is one of mine from a few weeks back when I was able to wear socks :p

Thanks! It's a linen shirt by some Italian brand called Andrews and cotton trousers by Boglioli.

It's been a while since my last post on this forum but I thought I could try and make a "comeback". So starting from this thread. And sorry that these are not really from today but a few recent looks..

    Great stuff, @A.J.V, welcome back!
Do you have a professional photographer?

I cannot speak for other men on the board, only for myself. At this point of the summer, my business wear becomes very casual and fairly redundant (cotton or linen pants, bd shirt, no tie jacket optional) and my casual wear is basically shorts and short sleeves or un-tucked un-ironed linen paired with canvas sneakers or drivers. Not very inspiring. Combine that with a fairly abbreviated work schedule. I'll be posting with more frequency as the temperatures moderate and summer vacations behind me.

    Thanks!

Can't really say a professional but my spouse takes most of my photos :)

You should post that first set in the CM thread. It's pretty great.

I can imagine... that happens to me as well... I usually wear polo shirts this time of year but hey, it is casual clothing so it would all fit here...

I agree... very nice outfits were posted.

What Colco said had me thinking.... @SeaJen posted a few weeks ago a picture of his vacation clothing... and I thought, why not post what we wear during these relaxing days... I believe there is no shame in it... in other places with similar subjects (men clothing or CM) happens the same thing when summer comes, no pictures... but men wore swimming trunks back in the day as well (at least since the 1920s). I don't think there should be anything wrong with posting some of our vacation clothing...

That said, I leave this, which is an example of what I usually wear to the beach everyday... White polo shirt (I think I have like 13 of them) and swimming trunks (I have a lot of them as well... I am a water guy). I choose White polo shirts because white goes well with any swimming trunks color and doesn't catch the sun like other colors do... I do own a pair of white swimming trunks (thank goodness it isn't see-through when wet haha) and then I usually wear a light yellow or light blue polo instead of one of my white ones.

    Anyways, too much "talking"...

This pair of swimming trunks are very 1950s style I guess... they are shorter than I am used to but those are all the rage now over here and saw them in the store and liked them, and they felt great (took another pair with blue ink and white stripes, really nice)... so @thefoxtooth I take back my comment about short shorts from a few months back... still I only wear something like this for the beach but who knows... I think one has to step out of one's comfort zone every once in a while. My other pairs are right above knee line, except for three surf boards but those I don't use for leisure time.

What I wore this past weekend...I have been wearing the top a lot lately... was made for me from my dads village tailor in my dads cultural colors...they made it from scratch using one of my shirts as a template..my wife loved this fit because of the interplay of colors into and with everything I have on..one thing though its a life saver on these hot cali afternoons being that it is paper thin..
