1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I never asserted that duck boots are not practical for foul weather, but they are still just plain ugly. :)

I agree that duck boots are ugly, even though I love them, but I find they have a certain charm to their ugliness like Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

not a major point, but a little comment... I think the brown jacket and shoes go great together, the grey pants and either the shirt or sweater... but I think the combo of the shirt and sweater is just a little much. The orange and green really visually bump against each other and it disturbs my eyes.

IMO if you have a crazy fun shirt and then tone it down and cover it up with a neutral sweater, vest, or sportscoat. If you have a crazy colorful sweater, then again, cover it up with a neutral sportscoat or jacket etc...

In this case, the brown green and grey are a really nice combo, but adding the orange stripe shirt is too much. I'd have toned it down with a white or beige shirt here. Or worn the shirt and then a neutral sweater like navy. To me the orange shirt and navy sweater play with each other but it's complimentary, not fighting like the orange and green.

Orange and green are normally great complements to each other, but I agree with Master-Classter that they're fighting here. A darker/deeper shade of green in the shirt would have looked great IMHO.

I like that tone of green and the orange shirt. The pants are not really grey, they are brown... I put some christmas lights in the bathroom plants and they killed the colors completely... it is a pity.
Anyways, thanks for the comments. :)

Uh huh. Figured you'd place the reference. Kept an eye out for a well dressed man with beard and kippah. No luck alas. :)
