1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

For your style you are definitely posting in the most appropriate thread. It just happens to be one of the slower what are you wearing type threads..

Exactly what Stitchy said--however, lately there has been an uptick in the contributions.

Nikky. Never heard of the brand until a few weeks ago when I was at a nice men's store outside of Boston. They carry the usual Italian characters from Eidos to Brioni, but just started offering this brand that is made in China. A ton of handwork with soft shoulders that happened to fit me well and cost was reasonable. Most of the other Nikky stuff I found online is not appealing to me, but this sport coat did the trick.

    Shirt: Barba
    Pants: Hiltl
    Shoes: Vass

Cool, @Thin White Duke . You look a bit like David Bowie, man. Has anyone ever told you that? :)
I see you too wear White pants outside summer season.

    Cheers Mr C

I do get that sometimes, hence the SF handle. Also - skinny white English bloke with spikey hair, who like DB also happens to married to a beautiful exotic African princess! When we are out together we often get shouts of ' there goes Bowie and Iman':D

    (Its always summer in Florida!)

A few days ago was my first day browsing through this thread and I started reading it backwards. Stopped when I got to this post because the only casual belt I have is wearing out. So I bought both of these, thanks for the recommendation. Can we have more of these, i.e. stop fretting about the perfect pair of jeans and go buy these...

I would subscribe to a "@Patrick R essentials" thread, or embedded herein.

That's flattering. I will give it some thought after I get through this week at work.

    x-post from NMWA:

Don't quite have the swag of Murl, but I still love my Eidos. Such a comfortable jacket.

Heading to Chicago later on today, so I put together an outfit of things I would rather not stuff in a suitcase. Not pictured: gloves, scarf, or LBM jacket. I should note, I tried to pack the Merino coat... I need some bigger suitcases. Also Big John slim tapered.

I think the cuffs on those jeans are a little too wide for my taste. The jacket seems to fit you perfectly. I would like to see some shirt-cuff underneath the jacket. Overall, very good outift @Newcomer.
