1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Just got my uniqlo linen shirt and blazer. My roomate thinks I'm a wannabe lumberjack hipster but whatever. I think they are okay.

I am very tolerant of exuberant hank expression, but that's just too much, Isolation. Way too much. The shirt is just meh. I don't love it, and I don't hate it.

Color combo is fine… there's nothing lumberjack about that shirt, looks fine. Definitely tame that square though! :nodding:

Much better. Except that I feel like calling 911 to get a fire truck to take out that pocket square. Stick to a white linen tv-fold for the next few months. And never listen to your roommate. :)

Leaving aside the bag and watch band, why black shoes with that outfit rather than brown?

It's the shirt trying to escape through the breast pocket.

I am also partial to brown (see below) but I think chocsosa made the right choice in matching the shoes with the rest of his accessories.

Hey Stiva. Honestly, I wear brown with everything a lot and brown would have fit in just fine with this outfit. However I wanted to change things up a bit and felt with this outfit black would be fine..thats about as much thought that went into it..I think people are so used to brown shoes or loafers with everything they forget that black can be as sleek.
Thanks arnathor..I am in the financial services industry..moving out to California has challenged me too step my biz casual game up because much of Cali (save for SanFran) is very casual..i still am in a suit most days a week though..Thanks again!

I don't post in here much, but chocsosa, that is really excellent. Also my phone autocorrects your username to chick soda. :p
