There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I agree App that a sweater could work here.. but I think the denim jacket is just fine as well..all these are casual items and I like the juxtaposition of these items to each other..I guess to each his own

    Thanks Kulata!

I like the jacket Choc, it gives a nice touch.
Then again, this thread is turning into 'what dad is wearing this sunday afternoon' so I can see how most posters won't like it.

LMAO @ Crat! I think the underlying theme is that there are different approaches to casual elegance..and there is not one way that is right.. I see some looks on here that cater to certain aesthetics I that Im not into.. but I would not change an item too it because too me if it looks good, than it does fitting that aesthetic..plus the whole sweater/chino's/pants look is done to death on here.. trying to do something different that I am comfortable in..but yea I agree there have been some real Dad looks up in here, lol

Indeed this thread caters to a variety of approaches on 'MC Casual' and not everything will be to everyone's taste.
My last post won't appeal to the more conservative posters here, im sure.
Personally I try to thumb up a look when I believe it is well done, even if the look is not to my taste.

In other words, if this ->
"This isn't my cuppa but I can see what you are going for and within its genre it seems to work nicely"
goes on in my head I'll 'thumb up'.

Regarding that jacket; I wouldn't roll up the sleeves. I don't get rolled up outerwear. Looks a bit 'trying too hard' imo.

    just my 2ct.

No, as I said the wording was probably not optimal. A denim jacket is just something that I would wear with something that stick out more in general.
I think choc's outfit carries a lot of elegance, the tassels add a subtle touch but the denim jacket is just too much in your face for my taste.

It was not my intention to change choc's view of his denim jacket or to make him doubt his fit. His fits are some of my most liked. This one just stuck out to me.
I didnt really think my comment would stir up a discussion of this proportion and I wished it didnt.

This was not my intention at all.

Crat, I think those shoes are too slick for that outfit, something a bit more rugged would work better.

Yep, maybe polished a tad much for the jeans but I don't think the galway boot is all that slick.
