Yessir, thats the one...I love it. Just saw a gentleman being fitted at Ercoles with it last weekend.

All this talk of beard trimming is getting me sweaty...

Wow, lucky you with the small feet! I am a UK13, and finding nice shoes with an elegant shape is so hard!! I am thinking going the bespoke route for shoes but my wife scoff's at that and reminds me we have a kid on the way! lol.. so we will see.. see with my size, 6"8 and 113.4 kg (250lbs) I have to dress a certain way to down play my size.. now, Im lucky because I have a bigger drop (10) and long skinny legs.. so as long as I can find a jacket to fit my shoulders (20.9 inches/ 51.3 cm) and my chest (48 inches/ 121.9cm) then I'm okay because everything else is fixable..I have never gone bespoke, mostly made to measure, but Im still able to find stuff that fit's me pretty well..but yea people just stare at me..like you are such a well dressed giant, lol..

My bane is sleeve length. I have never found a sweater which I could wear without a mtm or bespoke shirt underneath. Nor have I jackets or coats which needn't be altered. going bespoke was just a lot less stressful and more rewarding for me and actually turned out to result in higher quality, better fitting and merely infinitesimal more costly garments.

Shoes and inseam (W34L36) are luckily not too hard too find for me.

Even though I can never be sure if women check me out because of my height instead of my dashing handsomeness I wouldn't want to reside on the other side of the spectrum. Being taller than 99% of folks is better than being short; I would not want to change a thing on the hand I've been dealt with. It's better to be asked if you play basketball than if you play minigolf...

haha.. so true..I think its a combination.. women find height sexy, especially if you look good and carry it well..my wife once told me while we were dating that women equate height to the way a man looks at a woman's ass.. for a woman, the taller the sexier as long as you are not fat or look like an ogre, lol..and being I played basketball in college and semi pro and stay in basketball shape my clothes look better after a little bit of tailoring...for me when it comes to jackets and dress shirts its sleeve length.. I have really long arms.. my measurements for shirts is really 38..so I have to buy shirt makers that make their arms really long or go bespoke..and finding jeans for me is tough because I'm a 37-38 inseam and most jeans go to 34..so I really have to look and forget buying anything online.. I have to wear it to see how it fits.. so its not easy at the end of the day but then I thank my lucky stars that Im not our height and then 300 plus pounds.. then there would be no options but bespoke unfortunately..

    1. Yes, it is summer here.

    2. The trouser length is deliberate, but that doesn't mean you have to like it or that any critique of it will be ignored.

    Deliberate why?

Not a fan of the blazer. Looks like you're wearing bellbottoms on your arms.

    Because this:

Not claiming to have executed well, but that's the inspiration anyway.

Re: the sleeves - they could use a slight taper, agreed.

Agree, those arms could be tapered just slightly and it would be significantly more flattering.

Do you like the way the trousers look? I would be inclined to slim them a touch of the knee, just so that they "stack" instead of "break" if you see what I mean? The expansion outward of the fabric isn't especially flattering, but a slimmer version would be.

I think the T shirt works well with the blazer, good work.

Wednesday I'm rather short (5'6") so I went with a double fih today. I'm also wearing a camel top coat (not fully pictured) as I left in a rush to get to work. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Also, my suit supply SC arrives today, woot!

Mixing wool weaves and textures today for a biz cas look. Marled knit and speckled tweed; bespoke jacket and Schneider scarf.
(I do realize that the jacket sleeve rode up... that's not sprezzatura, I promise)
