Thanks Mr. Moo! Yea it makes sense..its all about proportions when it comes to clothes I feel....people tend to stare at me when I'm in a room all the time.. so I try to wear clothes that down-play my height.. not always successful though, lol

yea Big.. Im actually almost 6"9.. think like Lebron Jame size, lol..was awesome in college in semi-pro but now means nothing..people just stare, lol..so I try to dress to down play that.. sometimes it works, other times it does not, lol

I was searching through SF to find this thread and while looking through the SW&D WAYWRN I was so shocked at some of the pictures on that thread

. Anyway, i'm glad I found THIS thread as I think my casual style fits this better.

Anyway, since it's my first post, do you guys think my tie knot is too big for my collar?

Elaborate on the shock of the SWD thread :foo: Tie knot seems a little large, a fih with one wrap oughta do it. Would prefer a BD collar with the cardigan but there's nothing wrong with what you've got, IMO. Would also prefer brown toned shoes but also not a big deal

Agree with Shoreman on the knot being too large. Nothing wrong with your collar. Collars are very much subject to personal taste imo.

Welcome! I'm not a fan of knit-on-knit combos myself, but I suspect you'll get a lot of love for that outfit. The separate pieces are all nice.
