It may be the picture, but the long collar points give off a vibe that the shirt is from the 70s.

yes, the long, spread, huge collar points aren't very casual, plus the collar points look like they're about a foot apart; that neck hole is just spread so wide.

^^ shoreman love the color combo, nice hair cut. sole on shoes looks huge ^^

i think the shirt itself is fine, but the collar seems to be pulling off your neck and kind of flying away, the points not near resting on the shoulder tops. but it could be the way you are standing, leaning back, that is causing them to do that.

It is a recent shirt, and the collar is standard in size. I think I need to button it up one more, but it felt kind of restrictive. I also think the shoulder width on the shirt is a tad narrow, so it pulls back some, which exaggerates the effect even more.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback.

Soles are plantation crepe--weird makeup of this shoe. Also, shadows making them look bigger than they are. Nearly time for a resole; may go with double leather next time

Nice combination though I'd keep the sweater collar down, specially with a tie, it looks too long and stiff to wear it like that. I also don't like the shirt sleeves rolled up over the sweater.
Good look, anyway, just saying how I'd wear it (boring as I am :)).
