I don't want to have to check 23 threads to get some nice pictures so I'd rather we stop this dividing ****.

Maybe it is better to do these threads as image reposts (nice casual mc style with pics from the mc thread, random web images, those james dean/brando whatever pics etc).

Well, you don't want to check 3 threads. Others don't want to see casual in the same thread as conservative business dress. What do we do?

I would see more point to this thread if the jacketless looks were confined here, but they won't be.

It certainly doesn't seem to me that there's a shortage of casual looks in WAYW. The lack of sobriety is what gave rise to the conservative business dress thread.

I am with you, but not if it stops a lot of people from posting. I see a lot more inspirational fits in classical ensembles than casual ones. I'd like to see more of the latter. To get some new ideas. It would be cool if you'd cross-post from SW&D here. Your fits are always very interesting.

The bottom line is that posting pics for online critique is a bit scary. Unless we go all Andy's and applaud anything and everything, that isn't going to change.

That's awesome. We could all learn from you to be slightly less uptight with our clothes. Just this photo made me think about trying some white t-shirts outside the house again. I'm really open to new ideas and, hopefully, many others are too. Ideally, we should all just read the SW&D as well. But I'm too lazy and honestly, I do a lot less work than I should thanks to MC alone. Adding another sub-forum would be fatal to my career.

How is that acecow's problem? He doesn't get to police which new threads get created any more than you do. There was nothing left to say on the subject after ace posted the following, yet on we go.
