Still I think one should make a difference between dress shirts and what I consider casual shirts, like an OCBD or linen shirts. While I would never consider to wear a dress shirt untucked, in my opinion a well fitting OCBD or linen shirt worn untucked makes for a great casual look, which doesn't look lazy/immature and which in fact, I often times prefer over the tucked variation of the same items.

yes

someone mentioned BB - I have never found a BB shirt that looks good untucked. Way too long, tent-like fit, poofy arms and low armholes. Their "slim" and "extra slim" fits are decent work beater shirts though. I just picked up a stack of the "slim fit" ones at the 1/2 off sale for work, which I do each year. That is all they are good for ime though; I wouldn't wear them casually due to length and poofy arms.

I've got a couple of the ESF OCBD that can be worn untucked because of the amount of shrinking the oxford cloth does over time. I wear them almost exclusively when I;m wearing a casual button down shirt, but I usually tuck, and I usually don't have a problem with the slim or extra slim sleeves being too baggy. Normally having the sleeves rolled up also helps this.

^ Thanks. Had the bag for 5 years now. People always ask me how old it is. Ha.
