i guess we have to wait for toasty....
Thanks for your opinion. It was a big help.
One more thought, you're wrong. I had a size 26 for 6 months and they never stretched out enough. But again, your input was much appreciated.
TKE gettin' feisty!
nah, I think citan's right.
I can't bring myself to wear black shoes with business casual or other casual wear. Black shoes means business to me and brown means casual. By the same token when I'm in business attire I'm always in black shoes. Alternatively, I wear burgundy shoes when not wearing black or brown, and do so particularly for business travel when I'm taking only one pair of shoes.
stop being such a smug, irritating poster. if a 26 is too small and a 27 is too big, then NS isn't the cut for you. luckily there's about a thousands other cuts of raw denim that might work better. your jeans do not look good. people have told you this several times.
still, i await toasty!
First of all, there might be some truth to what you say, although you are wrong. The 26 was to small and the 28 is to big which means the next pair I buy will be a 27. No one has said anything to my about these jeans since they were brand new (I machine wash them every 6 months or so and they shrunk quite a bit since I first bought them). Secondly, Telling me they look bad, in your opinion, is fine. Although, I'm quite happy with them. I only wear them on the weekends as "beater" type pants. I'm perfectly happy about the fit. Finally, ad hominem attacks on SF are useless. I apologize if I've upset you somehow, but ad hominem attacking another member is not the way to resolve your issues.
This is typically how I wear these jeans:
wrinkled polo shirt and beater boat shoes. For these purposes, my jeans are fine.
it is knit tie from tie bar
And I was suppose to post that in the other MC WAYWT thread (Doh!) though I guess you can consider the outfit casual since I have no PS hm? Thanks for the comments.
And that is Victor in my avatar
This is how they are supposed to fit unworn. After 1 or 2 wears, the waist will stretch out significantly and you will regret not sizing down 2 very quickly. There's thousands of posts on the topic - people debate sizing 1, 2 or 3 but the consensus is clear on the topic. I've owned half a dozen APC raw denims and size down 2 for correct fit after stretch
