I get the hate for the SS shirt and tie, I like it...in an ironic sort of way. As far as the pants, whats so sloppy? Just cause I flip the cuff? I don't sit and priss and prop my shit before I take the pic (I know quite a few do), and maybe that's what your "sloppy" is referring to, because I didn't feel it looked sloppy at all.

While I don't agree fully with Teger's criticism, I don't like this outfit nearly as much as the previous ones you have posted.

Then again, I have an irrational dislike for short-sleeved shirts.

Teger's a dick, man. I don't think I've ever read anything insightful/nice/smart from him. (Edit: I think I'm getting confused with that guy, with the Asian dude chopping something avatar.)

Personally, I like the look--colour palette is nice--but I'd prefer the trousers to be hemmed.

what's the point of wearing expensive dress clothes if you're gonna wear them in a sloppy way? the pants look sloppy because they're extremely lightweight and the length and the cuff is off. you took the time to get the pants tailored, and they would look infinitely better with a proper cuff and hemmed to a proper length. why are you wearing a super casual belt with a tie, and the tie itself clashes with the cool tones of the rest of the outfit.

I have noticed that NYR regularly cuffs his pants (sometimes he even flips them over twice!), and I don't think I have ever seen anyone weigh in on what they think about that particular aspect of his outfits. Would anyone care to share their opinion on the cuff??

(For the record: I dig the cuff, and rock one myself most days)

So i tried to take clap's advice on trying to be more natural and I walked around to get ready before snapping this pic in haste. These are my lowest rise pants (jcrew urban slim fit). The denim shirt is for a reason...hoedown in Detroit tonight but I can't lie, I like it.

LOL, I do have a few exceptions...trying to win a shirt with those pics.

The Cannon is at Cannonball Park on 4th Avenue and Shore Rd.

nyr the green pants look so much better because they're hemmed to a proper length and fall straight.

Citan, your waist, lats and shoulders are somewhat narrow compared to your hips and long legs. Wearing a bold belt and tucking in a slim shirt makes this more noticeable. Sort of like a tall guy wearing his trousers with no break. In your case, a fuller shirt might actually help balance things out, and, as mentioned, perhaps you might consider wearing a cuff in your trousers.

You could probably a slimer pant as well. I see a good three inches of fabric hanging off your left quad

    Cool shirt!

Take a look at the tiles in the background. See how the vertical lines keystone? They are not parellel to the sides of the frame, ie, your camera is not level. You're tilting it down, which will naturally make your shoulders look even larger than your waist (inverted triangle). Hold the phone even lower and tilt it up so that the vertical lines are... vertical. Your latest photo (with the denim shirt) is level and is a better representation of your physical proportions.

Hope that helps with your mirror shots.

Citan, you look like a man wearing a correctly fitted shirt and trousers. That is all.

Edit: To all, I meant that in a good way.
