Champions on the deck, losers on the land. Keep them on the boat.

Enjoy the looks and "nice pants!" comments !

btw, you got really defensive when I believe that your explanation for why you like wearing them and when you like wearing them isn't really too far from his (b) category (derogative/snarky terms put aside)

Not defensive, rather argumentative. I'm enjoying these discussions, they help me pass time at work when I have free time.

    This quote?

That's fucking ridiculous, sorry. I wasn't even going to dignify that with an answer. I simply enjoy wearing those pants. I don't view it as "adventurous".

As I said, derogative/snarky tone aside, you're both saying these are "fun pants" for times when you want to eschew society dress standards. Or did I miss something in your comment above

You're right, that's what I meant. But I thought his main point was that people who wear these pants think they're hot shit because of it, but in reality are just a bunch of losers with boring lives who can't stand out in any other way. Meh. Two completely different spins on the same concept.

That jacket looks better on NOBD than it does on the model!

That's cos wearing a short car coat like that over a blazer/SC/suit jacket is an atrocity. Outerwear should always be longer than that which it covers, and I include those hideous down vests that GQ are always telling us look good when in reality they look shite.

I actually like the outfit. sue me. in my opinion you are definitely better dressed than that woman. midriff and pre distressed jeans what is this? 1996? feels like a missed opportunity with a frame like that.

    Nope, it doesn't. :nodding:

Thanks. The girl's outfit is pretty typical for the salsa scene. Mostly dictated by lots of sweating and moving. Most people don't wear their best outfits/styles, as it just doesn't matter.
