This is true. Actually, both of the K's in the Danish word for Knitted are pronounced.

And Liam, there's no reason to think the SNS is going to be warmer than a Northsea, which is every bit as substantial if not more so. Both will do a good job of insulation but you should probably get an extra layer for dealing with cold winds.

This is a concept I often forget. I'm short and lower rise pants/jeans make me like downright stubby. It's the "something off" when I look in the mirror sometimes, the thing you can't identify immediately.

German has a different word for knitting, but we also often pronounce the K in a "kn" letter combination, especially towns and cities. It's great to hear a native German speaker who happens to be unfamiliar with the English language pronounce a word such as "knife." Also funny? The pronunciation of "comfortable." German has adopted the word, but it is pronounced com-for-tahbl, with the stress on the second syllable. Try dropping that in your next English conversation and watch the reactions.

I prefer my AE's to cost more than my sneakers. And I think these happen to look better:

I love Sambas too and have a couple pairs myself... no disagreement there. Not attributed to you, I understand, but CP look NOTHING like nursing shoes. At a base level they are essentially luxury versions of the most popular sneaker in history... Chuck Taylors.

This is kind of surprising, for all the timeless and classic talk around here. Common Projects are just simple, well-made shoes for those who want a quality sneaker without any sort of intrusive branding. Are they worth three or four hundred bucks? Probably not, but I don't get why omfg $400 Borrelli shirt! gets a pass, but these don't?

    :puzzled:
