I can understand that. On closer inspection it is MARPAT but in Army ACU colors... odd. Either way it's one of those things that I associate with work. On a somewhat unrelated note, aren't patterened pants against SF dogma? [IMG]

You might want to step back and take a 10,000 foot view of this post and realize that the man is wearing a pattern and colors that he likes. Nothing more.

We all respect your service; you might be talking things a little to serious right now.

After reading your post and my post again I have come to the conclusion that I do not care in the slightest what you think about what I think. Thanks for the input though.

The war pants are goofy/heinous as all hell.

Usual caveats about how cool a guy NYR is still apply.

Ditto! Not trying to be argumentative. It cannot be denied that the man is wearing a simple collection of colors that he likes, nothing more nothing less. Trying to link said pattern to any type of military sacrifice (considering the context in which the pants are being worn) might be, at best, overkill.

You are entitled to your opinion, no problem!

You look like an off-duty merc. [IMG]

I figure this is casual enough to x-post here. Shirt is more navy than purple IRL.

Obviously it means more to NYR and EMartNJ than being just a pattern. Their feelings in no way need to affect your happiness or SF-experience. Learn to respect that some things ARE more important/significant to others than you yourself, you ego-centric juvenile.

    My thoughts exactly.

Or maybe switch to camo pants.
