What context? Camo is used in tons of streetwear gear, especially since last fall...

Personally, I love em', they look great! I actually went to Epaulet to order a pair for myself but they are sold out in my size already.. :fu:

What's more, a lot of men's clothes have their origins in military uniform, or have been influenced by them. Khakis, anyone?

The difference is that ACU is still in use and very unique to the US Army. Woodland camo became ubiquitous which is why it is more accepted for civilian wear. As a veteran, I can't stand to see anything ACU outside of a uniform. It's just one of those feelings that you can't really understand without having worn it.

I respect this, but, just because one doesn't serve, doesn't mean we don't share in the sacrifices made by those who do. As I mentioned, i come from a military family, and although it felt weird at first to wear these (USMC Camo btw), I feel like I've earned the right seeing what I've given up based on the actions of my parents and grandparents. Surely if you have children you could understand that they also made sacrifices for your service...

You both seem to feel like NYR's pants are a badge of honor or something. It's just a fabric/pattern; not a military decoration.
