1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

+1, the slim dot ties I believe are either 3 inches or 2 5/8.

Nope, but I can, unfortunately, see that resemblance.
Thanks a lot for your feedback.

I had thought that about the trousers also, but my fiance and Rick's said it was good, so I went with it. I'll get them shortened a bit.

I was planning to get a new belt this weekend. What do you think of something like: http://www.amazon.com/Erik-Blaire-M...8&qid=1341063650&sr=1-32&keywords=men's+belt? Seems light enough to fit well. Does that type of belt buckle look weird with an outfit like this?

Unfortunately? His character may be a douchebag but Pete has nailed some of the hottest women on that show...a couple models, a Gilmore girl, Peggy, the hot escort (ok maybe that isn't something to be proud of). Embrace it!

For dinner tonight, I'm wearing a NsM popover, another pair of Helmut Lang cotton shorts, a faded, unlined, unpadded, uncavassed Engineered Garments madras jacket, and brown Quoddy venetian loafers. No socks.

Hendrix an asshole? You are obviously mistaking him for someone else. He is one of the classiest posters on both sides of the forum

Agreed. Alot of the Black Fleece ties would work as well.

    Oh, that! That's why?

It's not being an asshole. He doesn't know what he's talking about and it would be negligent to give him the false confidence of ambiguous silence.

Alex mate it might be better off to reserve your advice for after you've lurked a bit more.

I would just block him; his only contribution to the forum has been teaching us how a polo shouldn't fit.

    done.

I still end up being curious and clicking the posts of blocked members, but at least it stops me from taking the bait and responding.

This will be better for us all.

I sometimes wish I could just take full on snark, but then i find i do genuinely care and want to help people who are dressing poorly. Oh well, i guess they gotta help themselves too.

This will count for nothing now, as you've blocked me, but I think the block function should be reserved for individuals who truly deserve it (racists/bigots/misoginists/etc). I know people like you don't care--your statement about wanting, to help poor dressers is ironically arrogant--but writing things like 'LOL' to a comment won't make any smart person instantaneously agree with you. This, again, is a long post for nothing, and, like somebody else said, why can't we all just be friends? The reason is, when people like Hendrix disagree with people--no matter how trite an issue--they give out this bullshit, dumbass, internet-hipster rhetoric. I hope you, and that fox do block me; I won't have, to deal with two stupid assholes.

    Brooks Bros Madras
    LL Bean shorts
LL Bean belt - my favorite belt for the summer
LL Bean Blucher Mocs (Which don't get much love, but they are affordable and comfy.)

The heat is ghastly but, at least, no mosquitoes.

Also, can the rest of you please stop quoting him so I don't have to read this garbage.

I dig everything here. I think even a pair of plain ol' white sneakers would work!

I don't got no skin in this game, but if I were you I'd think twice before I called another person's statements arrogant.
