Belt is brown - darkest one I have to complement the cigar. But it doesn't have the same luster as the shoes, so I can see what you're saying. Appreciate the input.

Appreciate it both. They aren't the slimmest pants I own, but can understand the criticism.

T-shirts haven't been exclusively underwear for at least a generation, and showing some tee under a sweater like he does is hardly transgressive.

Ahhh, fair play. The belt looks black to me; maybe a lighter, more olive-y belt would better complement the cigar? Or maybe it's just the picture that's throwing things off for me.

Also, re: the pants, I think they're great. You don't have skinny bird legs, so too much slimmer and it would be too slim. They're certainly not baggy, by any means.

The outfit looks good, but you seem to have the same problem with the fit of those pants as I do. They are supposed to be slim, but not slim enough. I am going to take my pairs to my tailor amd see of they can be made to fit more to my liking.

Did you get other colors beyond just the red? Yes - despite being labeled as slim, there's far too much room in the seat and upper thigh for how much it tapers. Do post pics when you get them back and I may consider doing the same.

Figure I'd toss this up here as well, because hey, I wore it to work.

^ look at that. Everything fits the way it's supposed to fit. Nice work shoreman

I disagree. The only thing that I found interesting in this outfit was that the belt looks black and added a stark contrast.

This is not quite a train-wreck, but close. The idea is fine, red pants + OCBD, fine. The way the pants fit coupled with the longwings just doesn't work here. A ribbon belt might have made some attempt to salvage. Dare I say it, but boat shoes might have worked.

I usually wear mine with white chucks or a quoddy moccasin knock-off.

Something about that pose is very feminine.
