Looks great. Love the jacket and shoes, especially. Would probably go more tapered with the pants, they seem a tad baggy to me. Shirt looks nice.
Perfect chinos. Looks great.
I'd like to know this as well.
I think you need to choose your clothes in a way that lengthens your torso and appears to broaden your shoulders.. This fit pretty much does opposite of what you want.
Try lower rise pants that sit lower on your hips, hemmed with very little break. Also a sport coat with padded shoulders would be a good bet for you.
Barbour flyweight something or other. Looks like the m65 less the top two pockets. Looked weird til it started getting dirty.
buy a barbour, overwax it, loan it to me for a week, I'll wear it at the forge 2-3 times, then brush it and it'll look three years old, instantly.
That's an interesting observation regarding the length of my torso. I was looking at another picture I took yesterday with me wearing a contrast colour belt and noticed how much longer my legs look compared to my torso. I'm not sure I could wear my trousers much lower without exposing my crack to the world every time I bent over though.
The proportions of my body are really starting to annoy me.
lol, you should start a cottage industry here on SF, for distressing items so they achieve that elusive "worn-in" look.
I'm reminded of those possibly apocryphal - and certainly amusing - stories of Astaire balling up bespoke jackets and throwing them repeatedly at walls so they soften up, and of an English fellow whose name I can't remember deliberately running his Range Rover back and forth over any new Barbour jacket to get it nicely worn-in.
It's acceptable, but I typically take it as a sign that I could do a better job with the whole sentence.
HF: Too much gray for me.
Ah, sugarbutch, the man whose beard mine is allegedly in competition with. Hello.
Can you post a pic of the jacket. Tough to get a clear idea in your images, but it looks nice on you. I found a flyweight Sapper jacket at an Orivs outlet this winter and picked it up for a song. It was a first quality, discontinued model. Very lightweight (which I wanted) and fits great. Hideaway hood and Barbour's lightest waxed cotton. Great for the mild winter we had. It's my first Barbour, I'm very pleased.
NRO has a bunch of Barbour stuff at like 60% off, or at least they did a week or so ago
