    Most likely.

I don't like the look due to two things:

    1) Tapered jeans

    2) As a result of 1) above, your frame comes off with the dreaded pear shape, rather than a line that flows nicely from top to bottom. The physical contrast between your shoulders, your mid/waist section, back down to a slim yet accentuated tapered ankle is just not good.

I've seen much worse of course, so it's not an egregious case, but it is noticeable.

Your post prompted my thought but it is a general comment - people here tend to want to wear their jeans where they wear their dress pants. I suggest sagging them lower on our hips for a more relaxed and better look. Jeans are not cut to be worn at the waist.

Your fit really wasn't bad at all, but a quick and easy sag would just look better IMO.

doesn't it depend on the cut of the jeans?

I saw a pair like that in H&M, for a cheaper version. Color, material and cut seem to be almost identical.

It does. But mens jeans that are cut to be worn at the natural waist should be avoided altogether so that's not really a variable.

These jeans aren't tapered. You seem to have taper on the mind.

These things are sitting on my hips, and actually can't sag anymore than that. Mainly due to my ass.

Dig, why are you trying so hard? It seems like the management has made it clear that your preferred mode of dress is transgressive in their eyes. If there is a uniform, there is a uniform. Concentrate on finding the best-fitting black polo and khakis you can, and save the MC stuff for your personal life.

Exactly. If Phat Guido can't swing it, I doubt that Dig can.

Bow down to your overlords. Concentrate your efforts on what you wear in your free time, and work toward a future in which you are unencumbered by others if you can.

What's the model and cut of the jean?

The picture makes the cut look tapered, but it could be a camera thing
