I thought you were already converted, or is this in reference to Acrid?
Acrid has had his Road to Damascus moment, and now he is seeing the light. Note that his groomsman remains unenlightened.
Also, just what is that horse doing?
P.S. It did. The Spock look received considerable mocking.
I like to think he's stomping on yohji.
If you ask me, I think St Acrid is carrying the no-socks thing a little to far.
No pants is a F.C. thing.
Improbable, though I remain intrigued.
Potentially. A few others come to mind:
1) If I were auditioning at a casting call for the Tim Burton remake of Clockwork Orange.
2) Were I to pay homage to Juan Valdez, who born during advertising's mid-century obsessions with branding mascots went on to become a Colombian icon.
3) If I never really needed anyone, ever, to take me seriously.
4) If I wanted to trim back the number of women who regularly ask me to sire a child.
This is probably true. Year round, I only wore socks with tennis shoes until I was 18 and moved out of Massachusetts. In fairness, the shoes from my earlier posts are classic LL Bean camp moccasins that I have worn for thirty years. It is a misdemeanor in New England to wear those with socks.
This is true even in the great midwest. As long as you're not too close to Illinois.
What the hell is this?!
Most of us would look like idiots if we dressed like Fuuma. He pulls it off though. You need context to be able to get eccentric dress. If he's not in LA or NY, maybe SF, London and Paris, I'd be worried about his clothing choices, but I think he's a Socal guy.
I agree, and defined several example contexts.
Those shoes are to footwear what mullets are to haircuts.
Disagree. (Oh, and Neil Armstrong wants his pants back.)
You're a genius, acrid. How has THAT perfect combination not yet come together?
Sadly, were I to post my horrid visage, I would be liable for all the cracked LCD screens that would occur as a result. I don't have Vox money like that.
This is bollocks. Outside of the aforementioned Halloween suggestion or some other fancy dress scenario/bet, I can't think of any "context" where anyone could "pull off" wearing a blanket as a coat, or that hoisted up white lab coat whateveritis, without looking like a ridiculous twat.
I enjoy the way the likes of Rambo and Fuuma pierce the pomposity on display on this board from time to time, but Fuuma's credibility is shot to bits when he posts this shit. Rambo I urge you to maintain your personally imposed photo embargo. It would break my heart to learn that despite incisive commentary you also dress like a blind ponce.
This is nice. I feel the roll makes the jeans a touch short looking. Solid otherwise.
Separate names with a comma.
