Yep a swing and a miss. I was rushed on this one and didn't really look at the outfit in the mirror before running out the door. A pink shirt could have really sent this one.Shirt and jacket pattern scale too close.

Honestly I had planned to wear a black crewneck sweater on top, but in the rush to get dressed after putting a kid to bed I got too hot so the idea then was off putting. Grabbed my overcoat and ran out the door without even considering the scales since it was a none issue before. Most of my jackets are either big patterns or solid so I never need to consider this size. Now I know when I wear this jacket the striped shirts like this are out.Jokes aside, those patterns are a bit clashing in my eyes too. Either you wear, as suggested, a solid shirt, or you can try to conceal that aspect by using a (solid) tie.
