I took the pics outside today to see if the color is better.

I know some of you don't think that high waisted, wide leg pants aren't flaterring. Thanks for the feedback, but I'm going to continue to explore them. Also, I have too many of them to change. 😀

P.S. I adjusted the t-shirt sleeve so it doesn't show after I took the picture.

I really like that combo and the photos definitely look better outside IMHO. About the wide leg pants: I understand where you're coming from on why they appeal to you. But I do think they would look better just a little narrower or with a taper below the knee. Not down to 7" at the hem or anything like that. Maybe 9"? Just a suggestion if you want to try it out: try using clothes pins along the back of the trouser legs to take in some extra fabric just to see what it would look like. Or, if you're feeling more industrious, you could use safety pins along the interior inside seam to pull in some extra fabric to see what a little bit of taper would do to the look. If you like it, having some trousers tapered at the tailors is a heck of a lot cheaper than buying new pants!

Cheers!

Thank you. That's a great suggestion. I'll play around with that.

In my own experience, in a previous living space with fluorescent bulbs fitted for use as replacements for incandescent bulbs, the yellow tinge of all my photos was unavoidable. In my current living space, all the LED bulbs are 5000K, which affords my photos much more accurate colors.

For now, I'll take pictures outside. I'll get some 5000K bulbs for that room. Once it starts raining, I won't be able to take pics outside.

These strides look exponentially better than your traditional baggies. Please follow the advice given above.
Also a suggestion - don’t make your ‘marquee’ photo the one with your hands in your trousers pockets. My Mam taught me as a little boy that hands in pockets was a sign of bad manners. That may be archaic now but I seem to remember one of the contributors from Germany (@DorianGreen ?) confirming that over there it’s still considered rude even now. In any event it’s impossible to see how well your jacket is fitting when you pose like that.

Someone else posted recently with hands in jacket hip pockets which is even worse, pulling the jacket all out of shape and causing the vents to pull and flare out.

I know some posters disagree (@An Acute Style 😁) but stuffing hands in jacket pockets a la Prince Charles will cause unsightly distortion of the cloth - it’s not a good look!

Full disclosure - I don’t even open up the basting stitches on my jacket hip pockets!
