I really like that combo and the photos definitely look better outside IMHO. About the wide leg pants: I understand where you're coming from on why they appeal to you. But I do think they would look better just a little narrower or with a taper below the knee. Not down to 7" at the hem or anything like that. Maybe 9"? Just a suggestion if you want to try it out: try using clothes pins along the back of the trouser legs to take in some extra fabric just to see what it would look like. Or, if you're feeling more industrious, you could use safety pins along the interior inside seam to pull in some extra fabric to see what a little bit of taper would do to the look. If you like it, having some trousers tapered at the tailors is a heck of a lot cheaper than buying new pants!I took the pics outside today to see if the color is better.
I know some of you don't think that high waisted, wide leg pants aren't flaterring. Thanks for the feedback, but I'm going to continue to explore them. Also, I have too many of them to change. 😀
