Good call. Don't forget to check out Kent Wang's squares, too.

Good for you. If you posted a fit there, we´d probably crush your soul. Actually, I think you already posted one and we had fun.

Liam, you should go for it. I think you'd benefit. Just remember: unless you're posting $15,000 Japanese outfits right off the bat, there is what feels like an informal hazing period, in which you will most likely be ignored, or draw a few negative comments. Keep posting, and you will receive helpful advice.

Couldn't agree more about Urban Comp's post with the Field Jacket and Jack/Knife Denim. He falls into the "well done" category.

^It's like he put no thought into it at all.

Which we know is BS, starting with the bespoke jeans. One of my favorite SF quotes is, you think these things happen by accident?

replace "Japanese" with "bespoke" and that pretty much describes MC WAYWRN...

This is incorrect. Bespoke clothes are beaten up far more than RTW in today's MC.

The most favored clothes are expensively retailed RTW obtained at extreme discounts. So, the main difference between MC and SW&D is the more pervasive discount mentality of the MC side.

do people want serious feedback here? i feel that a lot of the posters post here because SW&D is too mean.

anyway, liam o, i think that you should stop thrifting old, ugly clothes and instead buy a few nice pieces and just wear those. right now i don't think you have a developed enough "taste level" to really discern what's worth buying and tailoring vs something that's never going to look good.

We do. I just feel like an alien in SW&D. Well over half the posts look like pajamas to me.
