1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Thanks Holdfast :fistbump:

Yep, you might have a point there.. I'll keep that in mind, though it was a "considered" choice to unbutton the middle one. Thanks.

Thanks! And yeah, the jacket is RTW, made by Danish NN 07. I was looking for a jacket like that for a long time and then found that on sale this summer :)

Might be your posture in this pic, but something about this looks decidedly effeminate.

Not to be mean - but I do agree. IMO part of the 'feminine' effect is partly caused by the strongly contrasting color line across the bottom of the cardigan which runs over the widest part of the hips. Thus making them seem wider. Wide hips = female Broad Shoulders/narrow hips = male I think it would work much better with a lower contrast between the top and bottom, and/or the cardigan being 'messed up' along the bottom hem so that the line isn't so straight across. Narrower pants through the seat/thigh might also help as well. Just some thoughts.:D

    Effeminate and frumpy. Bad combo.

I never noticed that about the shoes; my toe goes right to the edge, within about 1/4" but I'll take a look at them again once I put them on again.

Regarding the effeminacy, I actually did have that concern once I finally looked at the photos. I don't have any lighter pants to wear with the cardigan (no chinos yet) so I'll see what I can do about making that line appear a little shorter.

This is great, makes one realise what a difference expensive jeans can make. I don't really get why you'd wear trainers here (can't really get on board with designer trainers in general), but I guess that's just a difference in outlook. :)

Nice look, Fuuma -- solid all around. I'd prefer sneakers with different (white?) soles, particularly with this palette, but that's just me -- never been crazy about the color of gumsoles.

Yeah, it was between one of my MMM GATs low and white/white Stan Smiths.

Here's a nice study in contrasts, eh? The pose isn't the only thing that makes one of these images so much better than the other, of course, but it's a major contributor.

The pose in a picture is indeed important.

I think we should have a SF pose-off in WAYWRN.

At the office, people's comments about that shirt tend to revolve around the subjects of wallpaper and upholstery.

Here's the probs I see. The jeans are a little loose, but in a bad area, you're getting hip flair so now it looks like you have child rearing hips. The crew neck t-shirt seems neutral but you'd be better off with a v-neck or a button-up like Fuuma's, which is more dressy so matches better with the shoes. if that cardi doesn't sit well, try wearing it open to see if that makes a difference.

kgmessier - looks great, you're becoming one of my fav new posters. Please, keep experimenting and posting.
