    Today's Fit. Pants need to be hemmed...awaiting their first wash to make sure any shrinkage is accounted for.

    Lots of lovely autumnal outfits, gents.

    'Unfortunately' I have been on a short holiday in the Med and it was far more like late summer than autumn there - so no chance for tweed. But I did not follow the example of many men by wearing shorts.

    Here, I am trying to follow @Roycru in matching my fit to the colour of the backdrop!

    Yesterday, getting colder now. Heavy oxford shirt, barbour lutz (Bond Skyfall jacket for half the cash) and for colour, my great Uncle's silk scarf from the 1950's. Fraying a little in places but still beautiful. My father had quite a few of these and a few months after he passed away I decided I would ask my mother for them only to find she'd given them all away .... he who hesitates has no scarves.
