I think a lighter colored dress shirt would look a lot better here. In particular, a white or blue OCBD.

@DFWWingnut I think its abit much, with the larger jeans and the eyecatching sports coat and all the red and yellow. I am sorry, but i do not think that this exact fit works.

Well put together. This is how to layer a sweater under a jacket!
I think the rest of outfit would improve with suede chukkas, or any chunkier shoe really

Thanks. Aesthetic uniformity in my wardrobe is not something I put a huge value on. There are lots of cool looking clothes out there. I'm privileged enough with space and means to have a wide spectrum of stuff.

I actually liked the color of the shirt against the jacket and sweater, but didn't like the jeans. Would have preferred darker jeans with a more consistent color.

It's a bit cosplay, but the commitment wins me over.

@sugarbutch Full disclosure: it's more than a bit cosplay; I didn't actually wear that out. I saw my Fire King mug sitting next to my beret and decided to throw on my leather for some uproarious menswear-themed laffs online.

I mean, I think it looks pretty good for a goof, but I don't know if it's something that would occur to me if I didn't see the Bryceland's folks doing it all the time. Like, "hey, I want to wear my moto with grey flannels and a tie, but something's not right. Oh yes, my beret! Perfect."

I admit to being compelled by the mystery of how Ethan et al. make this look appear so natural and effortless, while I think I look ever so slightly dorky wearing the exact same shit. But I was not incredibly surprised at the result. Maybe it looks a little better than I thought it would, but not a whole lot.

Happy some of you don't think I look like a total idiot though (thanks @guldberget !). This is a hard look to work.
