Thanks @Lucido. Menswear definitely has its challenges once you get into the "Big & Tall" side of things.

    Smashing jacket @wigglr

Does the suede wear a bit warm in the summer?

Thank you! I haven't really worn it above 70-75 or so yet and I haven't ran into a problem so far

That is a difficult one to pull off Gerry, but you do! Nicely done.

    AAS,

I really enjoy your style and 19 out of 20 times I find no issue with your fits. That jacket, at the beach, with the rest of the rig is great, but would be even better without the PS (and possibly some lighter colored trousers). PS Feels forced and a bit contrived, and if your were adamant that you wanted to wear one, that is the wrong one; too dark and discordant with the rest of the rig and the location.

Thanks for the feedback. I personally think the shirt is the bigger issue here. A solid color shirt would have been better. I rather like the square and the jacket together and got a couple of compliments on Instagram about the combo.

In terms of location appropriate, I wasn't really at the beach so much as I was at Coney Island and the beach was in the background. It was around 65 or so maybe lower with the wind chill. Not really beach weather. In fact, I was pretty chilly.

I'm slowly and sadly giving in to the no navy odd trouser rule. I still try it occasionally, but agree with you here. Thanks.

While the rest of the world warms up, we get chillier and I'm loving it:

I am also one that doesn't believe the SF dogma/mantra about no navy odd trousers, so I wouldn't use my critique to kill them off in your repertoire. Maybe I was just over reading the beach theme, but a pair of stone trousers might have been better.
