1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Someone at the office actually said to me this morning, "How's it going, Mr. Rogers?"

(I told him it was a beautiful day in the neighborhood, of course.)

I really want to look and comment on some of the fits, but I am... blinded by the light.

On that very subject, here's a cross-post from WAYWRN. Although I wore the SC to work, I took it off almost as soon as I arrived and never felt lacking. The cardi was a fine substitute.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

    Never like turtlenecks. Just horrendous.

But, have you considered getting some APC jeans? I cycle a lot, which means my thighs are disproportionate to the rest of my body, but APC seems to fit. You're gonna have to sacrifice calf narrowness though, which might be a better look on you anyway.

    C'est la vie.

So I was wearing a Burberry duffle, J Crew pocket tee, weird guys, and McTavishes and this girl in my class said you look spiffy... Sprezzy, eh?

It is from J.Crew this year. It is a heavy weight one, almost like a jacket.

My real problem with it is the XL sleeves (36) with those zippers its unalterable. So either I'll have to wear it douchebag style or size down and not be able to move my arms. Who needs to hug!

BTW - can we kill this cardigan + tie trend here and now. All these Mr. Rodgers esque white people are giving me horrible flashbacks to my childhood.

^ Yeah, dude. No sign of that Rogers guy anywhere in this pic. Where's that shirt from, Rob?

Its an Epaulet inspired Ercoles. Seeing all of the cool Liberty prints Mike had convinced me to pick this out.

Have you increased in girth or did your jeans shrink?

Myself, I've not been in a western store in a while. Although I did have a brief look at Zara and C&A in Beijing couple of weeks ago, looking at casual jackets. What they had appeared to be on the small side. I'm 6ft 2in, 44 chest. Beijing stores probably have even less western buyers than the HK ones, so size stocking logistics might be adjusted accordingly. Zara sizes where never a problem for me in the UK, Same with C&A, before they ceased their UK operation.

In Xilinhot I usually look for XXXL or XXXXL But often the arms are too short while the chest-size is too big. Pants and jeans length is sometimes a problem for me as well. Maybe because Mongolians tend to be stocky rather than tall.

Shoe sizes though are not normally a problem for me here, but had great difficulty in finding size 45(European) in Hangzhou, most stores there only stocked up to size 44. Perhaps Zhejiang Province people tend to have small feet?
