1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Didn't read the whole thread but let me guess: mafoo loves iammatt's, vox's and manton's outifts while vox loves manton's and iammatt's and manton loves vox's and iammatt's. Somewhere in there, some docholliday, chorse, phat guido (and socal for laughs) get inserted inadvertently but that's not incredibly relevant.

    Am I close? [IMG]

yup. the usual clusterfucks are overly represented in this thread as usual.

ROFL at the facial expression in this picture, like the best man grabbed your ass just as it was being taken. [IMG] I hope you didn't grimace this badly throughout the entire wedding.

This thread is pretty neat. I wish somebody would write a script that would crawl the entire WAYWN thread for images, and then post them in one long continuous image post so you could just view all the fits from one year on a page. That'd be ridiculous.

I've been thinking of creating a WAYWT website that would have that kind of feature. things like:
    • mark your favorites (so you dont have to store pics on your HD)
    • sort / search / link different folks
    • let people save item descriptions so they can quickly post
    • post via iphone/fb/twitter/etc
    • maybe allow ratings
    • and search "like" fits for reference, or a preference indicator (e.g., you like this person 85% of the time)

Whoopee's (Chitty Chitty Chang Chang) suit silhouette is my fav. His Tux is perfection in style.

Baron is the coolest mf on the board; able to juggle formal to street without looking theatrical or a glorified grandpa. A.Harris does this well also. These guys could do business without distracting, go to a nice louge or take it to a pub with their wardrobe.

The 4 horseman have the best fits to quality and could bank roll the overthrow of small country with their wardrobe.

As in too categorical and measured, and not organic enough?

While I put together another post of favorites, I have to single out and pour a 40 for my homeboy:

    Dooooood! That's a WAYWRN post!

Plus, it is well known that you bring the hey-ho to the dojo.

You can just hang this sign out for all to see: "Others Need Not Apply!"

    I lol'd

Sold that bike and my Ellsworth a few weeks ago. Just weren't getting the riding time. Down to my decidedly low brow Specialized Enduro Pro.

    Vest:

Not pictured: BB RTW camel hair polo from my college dayz, Dent brown shearling lamb gloves, blue Drake cashmere scarf, Russian winter hat (I look like a total idiot in this, but it keeps my ears attached to my head).

EDIT: The shirt is royal oxford, the tie is wool, the suit is 14 ounce woolen flannel, the shoes are kid (not reverse calf) and the socks are thickish knits.

    2nd try:

Jacket: MTM, unconstructed, fully lined, dark navy Drapers (don't remember the details)
    Shrit: Fray
    Tie: Drake's cashmere
    Pocket square: Estnation
    Pants: Incotex
    Belt: Valextra
Shoes: EG Inverness dark oak on 888
    Watch: JLC Master Control Geographic

Do it man. It would be a magnificent testament to mankind's vanity & folly. [IMG]

    Seriously, it would be great.
