Baron is so badass, if I had to pick top five on the thread, this one would be in it.

I've copied this one several times:
Did you also copy the poorly-cinched tie and askew shirt collar for total authenticity?

Thanks, but this guy is clearly not even close to overweight

[IMG] Thanks, you made my day, LOL.

3 things: swelled chest + pinched waist +flared skirt= 20 lbs thinner [IMG]

    Tailoring magic.

Yep, if you don't have much of a waist you've got to create one. It's all about proportion.

Baron is the coolest mf on the board; able to juggle formal to street without looking theatrical or a glorified grandpa.

I'd have to hand Baron the overall award as well. He's got the range, attititude and execution. There are some pretty versatile posters here though - you, yfyf, Parker, Getsmart, Vox, PG etc., even the Mafooman and Labelking have all got range within their own styles. AlanC and the street credless Matt are getting there too.

Wha? Why? I've put up plenty of stuff worthy of hate, but this one strikes me as innocuous at best. You guys are just jealous of my awesome coat and sweet wool tie.

Or maybe you're thrown off because my free hand isn't in my pocket.

Have you thought of taking your photos in a restroom to be more like the rest of the guys?

The coat is great. The tie with the coat is much, much less great.

Do the coat and tie clash? My life would be much easier if I could see colors normally. Or do you dislike the pattern?

For now I'll chalk it up to sprezzatura.

Not trying to threadjack, though. Great looks and folks should keep em coming. I'll try to post a comprehensive "fat guys dressing challenges" thread tonight if I have time.

Keeping my eyes peeled--I'm right there with you.

It both matches too much and clashes, at least it looks that way in the pic. The red is too close to the windowpane, and the pink looks really off with the base color of the jacket. The coat remains very cool.

Ah, I see. That's a result of my old camera. There's no pink at all -- it's actually a series of fine, closely spaced white stripes. Now that I look at it thinking pink, I can see how it would be pretty awful. My WAYW got much better once I bought my new camera. I'll try to post a better pic next time I break out that tie. If anything, I thought the tie was a bit matchy matchy with the coat.

Yeah, this one- I love it too. At least the look. But when I really start to analyze it, to see how it is done, I start to focus on the jeans. Then I see how important the clean lines of the top block are. Then I start thinking, you know maybe it should be a little larger, cause if you look... [IMG] WAIT- what the hell am I doing?.

Every time. The mental reset is distracting enough that I tend to keep it off my list of favorites.
