I bought some cheap H&M slim fit dress shirts for work (which were embroidered with my company logo on the chest - hence my decision to go cheap). The collars dont really stand up like i wish they would. I'm wondering if there is a way to keep them standing up?

I was thinking about somehow attaching the collar to the neck, double sided tape perhaps? Thats a very cheap way but would like some other options.

A friend of mine gave me a set of magnetic collar stays. The actual stay itself is similar to the brass kind I normally use but the magic is a small, extremely strong magnet that you put on the inside of your shirt collar to attach the collar to the neck (similar to you double-sided tape idea but less messy and conspicuous). I've used them a few times and they definitely seem to do the trick. You may want to try them out.

They're called Wurkin Stiffs. My ex got me a set last Christmas, and I love them.
