So I was mirror polishing a pair of AE plaintoe Bristols. I noticed recently that the left pair developed a really weird vein-looking raised welt from the left side of the toe and back towards the heel. Since I was using a fair amount of water in the mirror polishing process, I'm thinking some water soaked in and maybe caused some expanding. I've let it sit for about a week and it's not going away.
Would this be a strip with chemicals and let dry situation or a hot metal spoon and press situation?
