    One of my fav scenes...

Season 4, takes place in prison when Wee-Bay breaks it off in his wife's ass and tells her that she better not interfere with Colvin taking Namond in.

His character was so nonchalant throughout the series and yet he was able to recognize Namond just didn't have "the game" in him and wanted something better for him..

    I thought that was awesome.

There was actually a really touching moment in there when
she goes that he can be anything "except a gangster" and he responds "yeah, and look at this." He said it with such recognition that he had in fact wasted his life but also so calmly accepted it.

The Deacon was one of the guys that Avon Barksdale was based on. the real Omar was one of the guys that gives Omar the shank when he's in lock up. The real actual guy Jay Landsman is Colvin's second in command whose character name escapes me at the moment. I think the bearded reporter that always schools them on language usage was one of Simon's co workers at the Sun. I'm sure there are others.

The shocker in today's voting is Cutty over Chris Partlow. Cutty was a feel good story, but Chris is BAMF.

It blows that D'Angelo is losing to Snoop. The latter is great but D'Angelo is next-level tragic.

Not happy about how Frank is getting shellacked by Prop Joe.

Chris is very one dimensional and isn't very likable. The only thing they ever did with his character that would separate him from a Terminator robot is the brief story line about Michael's stepfather that they incorporated. Cutty, on the other hand, goes through a whole journey.

Snoop is one of my least favorites. I guess she embodies the ultimate ideal of street behavior, but other than that there's not much there. Totally agree with you about D'Angelo being next-level tragic. What's the count on characters who aren't tough enough for the game that wind up dead or in jail?

Off the top of my head....D'Angelo, Wallace, Ziggy

Yeah, Frank only being in one season is a really disadvantage. Joe also gets to be a very likable

Randy Wagstaff. One of the most tragic story lines in the series. Dukie as future Bubbles is up there, too.

Also Prop Joe totally deserves to beat Frank Sobotka.
