I have several Sirtoli alligator watch straps that I am very happy with. Also look at Di-Modell and Hirsch if you want non-exotic straps.

Are they kidding me? $120 for a watch strap? Shell Cordovan shoes cost $500. And watch straps can be made from left-over leather. Wow.

Kidding? Too much to explain here. No patience. High quality exotic leathers are in this range. You pay for quality.

Exotic - yes. But shell cordovan isn't an exotic leather as far as I'm concerned.

I just think that at this price the mark-up is too severe.

$120 isn't cheap, but don't think it's way over the top within watch circles for a quality product. Hell, many companies will chart $200-300 or something just for the official metal closure.

Stay the hell away from Banda. They're total crap. I regret buying mine from them. Biggest waste of funds I've ever put towards something in the menswear realm.

Speaking of leather NATOs - I, and all of our customers, are completely blown away by the looks, feel and quality of our kangaroo leather NATOs. Honestly, they are stellar.

Most quality straps start at $60 and an alligator, croc, or lizard strap at even a drug store is likely to cost you $85+ in a men's size. For a premium "brand" this is not at all unreasonable. Do you cry this loudly at other "overpriced" branded goods? Kiton is just cotton or wool, right? Brogueing is just punching holes in some cheap old leather, right? Why is RLPL so darned expensive?! Wrong forum for this type of attitude.

I have been pleased with everything I've ordered from Europelli as well as the service. They are pricey and somewhat Panerai-centric, but they have great products in my experience.
