Thinking about picking one up - what is the general consensus on these things? Also should the watch winder be turning constantly or in intervals? Thanks!

I think they are a novelty. I own 3 automatics and I don't see fit for a winder.
I have 1/2 a dozen individual winders for my automatics. Everytime I buy a new watch I buy a winder also. I think they are very practical, who wants to set a watch every morning??
People with manual watches?
