1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

DC is such a Redskins town that not many people realize that the Washington Wizards have the second-best record in the NBA's Eastern Conference.  They are a lot of fun to watch -- I saw them come from behind in the fourth quarter to beat Minnesota a few weeks ago.  Plus, the MCI Center is surrounded by several excellent restaurants, including Jaleo, Zaytinya, and Cafe Atlantico, among others.  Definitely a good time for a Friday or Saturday night.

Enjoy watching Gilbert Arenas. He was great to watch in college at Arizona and just as much fun as a pro.

Makes sense that no one pays attention to them. They have been terrible for years. They are playing well though these days. I don't see them getting far in the playoffs though. Especially if they have to face the Diesel and the Heat, who are 4-0 against Le Bullet this year.
