Okay, this is really last minute, but schedules are difficult to work around this time of year. The Washington, DC SF Holiday Party will take place on Tuesday, December 10, in the renowned Off The Record bar in the Hay-Adams Hotel (800 16th Street NW). Due to popular demand, attire is black tie (or similarly festive) recommended. We will meet at 7 PM, which will give those coming from work sufficient time to change. Hope to see you there!

Working also. Just out of curiosity - won't you stand out like "Dogs Balls" at the Hay, (with all those poorly dressed Lobbyists) in Black Tie?

There's no place where you won't stand out in black tie. But the H-A is as good a place as any for a semi formal hangout.

Great choice of location! I think I can make it work.

I will not be wearing a speedo, black or otherwise.

Tomorrow's weather looks like a mess. Should we postpone?

I like that idea. No rule that a holiday party must be in December. Probably get better attendance in January. Other opinions?
