I went to the Conn. Ave. FB today. Nothing much new to report. Still have lots of Barney's and Mitchell's stuff - most of it casual (jeans, cords, sport shirts, sweaters). It appeared to be the same racks as they had the last time I was there. I did, however, notice a few random Bergdorf items (mostly Loro Piana shirts) and two Domenico Vacca suits (including a tan cotton/cashmere size 46R that I bought and then returned last April or May).

Did you happen to see if they were made in China or not? Thanks...

Anything of note at the Tyson's location to anyone who has been recently (last week)?

The Conn Ave. Filene's is fairly well picked over depending on size as reported by others. Just picked up Luciano Barbera and Truzzi shirts though......

Sorry, I didn't. I almost didn't mention them because they don't seem to get much love here. Plus they are all pretty weird. One pair was red penny loafers with white vamp. One pair I liked was linen oxfords.

My wife told me that the Tyson's location appeared to have more women's apparel than the Conn Ave location.

She told me the men's suit selection was considerably worse at the Tyson's branch and the men's shoe section was just abysmal.

No need to shop personally when I have trained my better half properly!

Were those shirts just down with the others on the first floor? How are they? What price?

I'm not in dire need of more shirts (how many now, 35?), but always like a good deal. Obviously.

No, at the Conn. Ave store the real stuff is up on the second floor. Take the elevator (or the stairs to the right). One was $65 and the other was $80.

I only found this out last night, but as I mention in the shell thread AE on Conn is offering 10% off through Sat.

I must be blind that I missed that there were shirts on the second floor. I was too focused on finding a suit I guess. Thanks.

I think I may wander up Conn after work today and stop at AE and FB. Probably BB too just to see what is around for summer and then buy anything I like at the outlet store.
