Washing Raw Straight Svens

Hey, I am new to styleForum

well i bought a pair of Nudie straight Svens from Denim Bar (Bethesda) on Jan 2008. I have gone one year with out washing or soaking (except one time i got caught in a rain storm and was soaked from head to toe.) and i was washing them but forgot to following the instructions and did not turn them inside out nor did i do a seperate wash. What effect will this have on my jeans. should i wash them in a couple months and will the fade be more prevalent. btw this is my first pair of raw denim.

your other clothes will probably turn blue. that's the only thing i can think of, they'll be fine. don't put them in the dryer.

and wash them again when they get dirty.

will it effect the fade meaning would it have come out better if i had followed the instructions.

So you washed them already? Can't you look at them and see the effect it had?

yes i already washed them but im wondering if i was them the correct way will the fades show more. and what is the difference between washing them inside out verse not.
