Washed or dry Nudies? Or APCs?

I'm very interested in getting a pair of Slim Jims but I'm having a hard time deciding between dry and washed. Is it only "worth it" (I'm a student, please understand) to purchase the dry version since you can probably find another pair of washed jeans at a cheaper price?

And what's up with APC New Standards' sizing? My usual size is 29 and I can't even fit into a 28. I tried a 29 and it looked way too baggy, destroying my purpose of buying a good pair of skinny jeans. Oh god, I actually felt fat at that moment.

Also, what's the general opinion on Topman's jeans? I tried their black/grey washed skinny jeans and it fitted me very nicely but I'm worried about the quality and I couldn't find much information about them either. Anyone has first-hand experiences with these?

It's definitely "worth it," in the sense you're talking about, to get dry jeans.

As for sizing, it's all over the place. APC has some skinnier models than the New Standards, so getting a tight fit shouldn't be much of a problem.

My 28 APC New Standards were tight at first but stretched out quite a bit. They are tight once again, but only because I need to lose 5-7 pounds.
