Warm winter coats

So I am moving from the Bay Area to Chicago and will need a coat thats a lot warmer than my current pea coat. I was looking for some stylish suggestions on a really warm winter coat. I would like to stay away from peacoats since I already have one. Looking to spend under 500$

if you like Navy inspired cuts, you could try to find a duffle/toggle coat. These are very warm and can often be found fairly cheap. I got mine from Brooks Bros. for around $500.

where do you find that Woolrich stuff in the US? the us woolrich site is full of stuff that sucks.

Sorry, 499 euros. I though once we were approaching the $1000 dollar range I could be off for a bit. I thought once people saw the price they would start looking for other options in a hurry.

oh haha. no worries. I just thought you might of come across some that I didnt see. but it looks like they were the same. now i just gotta pull the trigger. anyone familiar with how these fit? should I size down if I want it to have a slim fit?
