Today we’re going to talk about building a wardrobe.
Thrifting, Woo!
Our thrifting thread is goddamn awesome, from the bottom to the top. It’s one of the most active threads in the Classic Menswear forum, and is an education on what you can find for pennies on the dollar (or even less). In my eyes, the best part of the thread is the service that it provides: our skilled (literally fulltime) thrifters are completely willing to talk about their profession, and share their favorite tips and tricks with newcomers. There’s also a definite Appreciation factor. Lots of cool clothes.
eBay
Let’s be honest: eBay can be a killer place to get some exceptional deals (hint hint: check out our weekly curated eBay find threads) but it is fraught with difficulties. This thread is a detailed, step-by-step guide on how to use eBay, what problems can be associated with bidding on clothing, and some strategies for selling and purchasing clothing. It’s an essential, must-have to building your wardrobe.
