I've heard that it is always a good idea to splurge on shoes because they will last for years and in the end it makes more economical sense.

For our purposes, let's say shoes are "smart investments" because it makes more sense to buy high-end shoes than to buy many cheap shoes.

Can you list wardrobe articles by ranking of "smart investment"?

In other words in what items does it make most economical sense to spend a lot?

1. Shoes
2. Belts (Because they last forever so you might as well get a good one for many years)
3. Trousers/Jeans
4. Dress Shirts/all shirts
5. Jumpers/Blazers/Jackets
6. Socks/undergarments

Thanks for your opinions and sorry if it's a dumb question
