If you are serious about wearing it for interviews and business school, then resist the temptation to get some hipster suit with super narrow lapels and a skinny tie, with low rise skinny pants hemmed on the short side. That was all a 'don't'.

Do yourself a favor and go try some stuff on. It's a fun free activity. Don't buy from the first few places you go until you figure out what you like and what fits. In your price range, you will be looking for stuff on sale, if it's 500 and thats full retail, it's probably not a great suit. I think for someone your age and probably wanting some modern style (ie not a traditional Brooks Brothers looks) you could do worse than a z Zegna, Paul smith, (people here hate Hugo boss, but it will be in your price range and have a modern fit). You might check out H&M, Nordstroms, Saks, etc. But you'll need to search out the sales.

Get a Brooks Brothers suit,I think they have lines that offer slim fitting suits. You can get a suit within your budget during the sale.

You don't look like you weigh much more than 140 so you're probably looking at a 36 jacket with about a 6 inch drop. That's not the easiest thing to find offf the rack but its doable. As mentioned go to nordstrom rack, saks off fifth, neiman last call etc and try some stuff on.

Btw what bschool are you going to at 19

I'd suggest going for a solid staple like navy or charcoal. I would definetly give preference to traditional suits over fashion forward suits due to what you'll be using the suit for and your age. It is very likely between now and the time you'll actually need to wear suits frequently, styles will change and your weight will change.

Also, I would consider not dropping $750 on a suit. That is a lot of money for a 19 year old and you may be buying a suit that will get very little use.

That's why you go try stuff on and figure out what you like..

Maybe the Lewin suit is great, maybe it doesn't fit you, and maybe the super 110 fabric is unattractive in person. Go Fichte out what you like.

Does TM Lewin have retail stores in the US or do they sell their stuff in department stores? I thought that you could only buy their stuff through their website in the US.
