I'm loving my Faure Le Page Wallet ... It stands out, and isn't quite as brand loud yet.

This shell cordovan "The Fold" from Leffot went through the washing machine with detergent back in July. I'm amazed at how quickly it recovered

I'm looking for a leather wallet to hold the majority of my cards, passport or field note book, bills and coins. I'd like to keep it in my carry bag or front jacket pocket, so no back pocket size constraints.

I really like this https://www.bleu-de-chauffe.com/en/men/115-corto-wallet-natural-3700716001076.html from Bleu De Chauffe that would go with my bag. Does anyone have any other recommendations to check out?

I have two Port wallets from Craft & Lore. Same basic design, just different leathers.

The first is a Horween CXL:

I also have a black cherry ghost version. Basically a red leather with a black waxy surface that rubs off as you use it to develop an interesting patina.

They have lots of other styles, colors, and leathers, including shell cordovan. Of the two wallets I prefer the CXL, but they're both good. Having a minimalist wallet has really made me consider what I want to carry and has kept the fat wallet bloat - with every which thing crammed into it - I used to have at bay.

I started dabbling in making wallets last year and have made a few of these minimal card wallets.

Most recently I have been making them with Badalassi Carlo waxed pull up which is lovely leather.

They hold 2-3 cards each side and have a central section too for notes or more cards.

I have been using various versions since last year and find the design really suits my needs.

I am still an amateur really but I’m gradually improving.

I got my bifold wallet handcrafted by Aug Leather. They also made custom wallet, and I chose black Epsom leather combined with vibrant orange color this time. It looks nice for me. What do you think?

I don't know what I'm carrying except it's the same wallet that's been in my pocket for the last 20 years. If your family is big enough there is never any need to pay money for a wallet. Inevitably somebody gives you a wallet for Christmas, so you just toss it in the drawer until whatever you're using finally falls to pieces.

Contrast that with women's handbags. Years ago I bought shares of Coach because of a favorable article in Barron's. Among other things, it claimed the average woman bought something like 4 or 6 new bags every year. This I cannot get my mind around.

I love Popov as well. I have a couple of their wallets, keychains, watch straps, etc. All very nice and good quality. Great colors as well.

A little patina love on my 5 card Popov wallet.

Looking for some advice here. I'm looking for a simple, black card holder for under $100.

Something like the Ashland Leather Frank the Enforcer but I don't need shell:

Or like this OOS La Portegna Humphrey:

Anyone have any recs?

I have a color 8 shell Johnny the Fox from Ashland and absolutely love it. It brings me joy just to bring it out to pay for something.

Aw man that’s great. If it was for me I’d be all about it but it’s a gift for my sister and I really don’t think she’s going to care whether it’s black calf or shell. Hence the ask for a cheaper version.

I got my gf a card holder from Leatherology a couple years ago and she still uses it and likes it a lot. It's hella blue from her jeans crocking on it but besides that it's in great shape
