Wallet in Jeans back pocket: Left or Right

Just noticed recently, most ppl put their wallet in the right back pocket, specially with those raw jeans, you can see the wallet mark on the right back pocket most of the time.


I am a right hander, but i tend to put my wallet in the left, no reason, just intuitively. How about u guys

Welcome to the board. I don't carry a wallet but my pockets are loaded as follows:

front right - cash, change & receipts
front left - credit card/id holder (this is my "wallet fade" area)
back right - keys (i can a hole forming in some of my jeans from this)
back left - work ID and transit cards

Keys: right
Watch: left (when I actually wear one)

I guess this just worked out my trial and error. I feel comfortable with this arrangement. Can't really explain it.

This thread seems a tad bit superfluous but I'll chime in. As a right hander I'm going to want things I normally use to be easily accessible to my dominant hand. Not sure how that's so hard to understand.

Wallet: right
Folding knife: right
Keys: left

More convoluted for me when wearing jeans...

Rear right: folded handkerchief
Front left: wallet (Slimmy so it is almost invisible)
Front right: keys & little pocket knife in small zipped leather change bag (keeps pockets from tearing)
(Forgot) Rear left: phone when I am walking around and don't have my leather belt phone sheath with me or a jacket with chest pockets...

Right handed, btw.

Edit:
Agree with Fok, having crap like wallets in your arse pockets is a good way to give yourself problems...

My chiropractor is always giving me hell for keeping my wallet in my back pocket. I keep it pretty thin though so I think it's okay. Nothing like george's from seinfeld...

Yeah, my wallet is actually an ID holder, so it's slim. I have my license, school ID, 2 credit cards, and cash. The whole thin is less than .5" in thickness so I can't even feel it.

I'm right handed and I carry my wallet in my strong side back pocket. I take it out if I'm going to be sitting for long periods of time, though (eg driving). Fok's right: **** is not good for your back, even if it's small and just uncomfortable.
