Walking dress shoes?

Crowd sourcing some opinion and help here.

Heading to Paris soon, expecting to do a ton of walking. Also expect to eat in restaurants with dress codes, and don't want to look like my grandpa. Well, I would love to look like him when he was 35...just not at 80 :).

So, what shoes do you love that can handle miles of daily walking without killing me, but also don't look like nurse shoes? Expecting to rock a sports coat or formal sweater most days.
