Walk around city pants in Europe

Hi guys I am going to Europe (Prague, Budapest, and Vienna) this month for ten days. This is my first time to Europe so I don't quite know how to dress appropriately as a tourist. I am still at school so most of the time I wear shorts all day long.

I suppose I can wear jeans when I tour around but since I am going to walk a lot for sightseeing I am afraid I am going to get all sweaty.

Is there any alternatives to jeans/shorts for me to wear to walk around comfortably in european cities not looking like a tourist.

Thanks

Get some slacks that fit you nicely.

Don't need to be super expensive, but not jeans or shorts.

Many light weight slacks are more "breezy" than jeans anyway. And you can dress them up/down to save on packing space.

Don't be" the Yank" with a baseball cap, loud oversized t-shirt/polo and shorts, and you should be alright. Assuming you're American here, but even if not avoid that combo anyway. :p

Slimmer fit light gray cotton trousers. Can't go wrong for touristy daytime stuff.

And no sneakers. Please.

Lots of people suggest no sneakers, plimsoll's or GAT's ok?

You're not going to avoid being spotted as a tourist, and in my view you shouldn't be concerned about that. Just dress the way you would normally . . . assuming your normal is nothing like the photos posted in this thread so far, of course.

Just do what the big timers here do and where a suit and lobbs while touring a city on vacation.
